We are accountable for personal information under our control and implement policies consistent with Canada’s privacy framework (PIPEDA’s Fair Information Principles).
This Policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, who we share it with, whether it’s transferred outside your province or Canada, your rights, and how to exercise them. It covers:
We minimize collection and keep it proportionate to the purposes below.
Category | Examples | Source / Technology |
Identifiers & device data | Cookie/SDK IDs, pseudonymous analytics client ID, approximate location (city/region from events) | First-party/hosted analytics, tag manager |
Technical logs | IP at edge, timestamps, URLs visited, referrer, HTTP headers, error/status codes | Web server, CDN/security layer |
Affiliate attribution | Click IDs (SubID, campaign tags), timestamp, landing page | Affiliate links/partners (URL params/redirect) |
Contact data (optional) | Email, name, message content you send | Contact form or direct email |
Consent record | Cookie banner choices, consent string, timestamp | Consent Management Platform (CMP) |
We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories (e.g., government IDs, banking) on this Site.
Under PIPEDA, we identify purposes, seek meaningful consent, limit collection, and limit use/disclosure/retention. We rely on:
We use data to (i) measure traffic and improve UX/content, (ii) attribute affiliate clicks for commission accounting (without directly identifying you to us), (iii) answer inquiries, (iv) protect the Site (security/logging). PIPEDA’s Fair Information Principles inform these practices.
If you reside in Québec, we name a Privacy Officer, maintain governance policies, provide notices about cross-border transfers, perform privacy impact assessments where required, and honor expanded rights (including portability where in force).
You’ll see a cookie banner on first visit. Non-essential tags (analytics/marketing) load only after Accept. You can revisit choices anytime via Cookie Settings in the footer or your browser controls.
Categories used
If we ever offer newsletters or alerts, we send commercial electronic messages (CEMs) only with valid consent, include our identification and unsubscribe in each message, and keep records of consent.
We share personal information with service providers acting on our instructions (hosting/CDN, analytics, security, tag management, affiliate platforms, email service). Some may be outside your province or outside Canada (e.g., the United States).
Under PIPEDA, transfers for processing are treated as a use (not a disclosure). We remain accountable, use contractual/organizational safeguards, and provide notice that foreign laws may allow access by courts or authorities.
This Site targets adults (see “Audience notice”). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. In Canada, regulators treat consent from children under 13 as generally not meaningful; in Québec, a child under 14 cannot consent except in limited circumstances. If you believe a minor provided data here, contact us and we will delete it.
We use industry-standard protections (HTTPS/TLS, hardened hosting, least-privilege access, logging/monitoring). No Internet service is perfectly secure, but we continuously improve controls and limit access to a need-to-know basis.
Breach notification (Québec): If a confidentiality incident presents a risk of serious injury to you, we will notify the CAI and affected individuals as required.
You can request:
We will respond within applicable timelines (target 30 days). If unresolved, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC) or, if applicable, to your provincial commissioner (e.g., AB/BC).
In addition to the above, Québec residents have enhanced transparency rights, the right to be informed of cross-border transfers, and a right to data portability (as prescribed).
How to exercise your rights
Email privacy@c24vip.com with subject “Privacy Request” and include:
We retain personal information only as long as needed for the identified purposes, then delete or irreversibly aggregate it. We document new purposes before any re-use and will seek fresh consent where required.
When you click an offer or outbound link, you leave our Site and land on a third-party website that maintains its own privacy policy and terms. Review those documents before providing any personal information.
While our audience is Canada, visitors from other regions (e.g., EU/UK) may have additional rights under their local laws. If you contact us, we will assess and honor applicable requests where required.
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in technology, practices, or legal requirements. Material changes will appear here and, where required, be presented via an on-site notice before taking effect. The “Last updated” date shows the latest revision.
